I realized something this week. I have so many choices when it comes to what I eat. Yes, I have rules and I am restricted, but those rules have opened me up to a whole new world of no-sugar eating that I might’ve otherwise have enjoyed, or at least tried. Example? I made a sugar-free salad dressing last night. And while I didn’t like it. Not at all, I felt accomplished for making the effort to try something new. This whole new world of food to explore is exciting. Plus, I’m am starting to feel good physically, and that, my dears, makes all the difference in the world.
Here’s what the Days have looked like | Day 11 Tried a dry rib rub from @paleocupboard for dinner tonight. Spicy, but so good. | Day 12 So without all the belly bloat, I’m able to wear jeans that I haven’t been comfortable in for a long time. #nosugar #21dsd | Day 13 I’m rehydrating today. This is sparkling water with added lime slices. | Day 14 Snacking on sunflower seeds roasted in garlic salt. This is my new favorite. | Day 15 What taco night looks like without sugar. Ground turkey, black beans, tomatoes, lettuce, & cheese in a bowl. | Day 16 Do you know how hard it is to find sugar-free #bacon? Don’t worry, though, I did. #breakfastfordinner | Day 17 Hard boiling eggs for tonight’s monster dinner salad and future breakfasts.
