Ice cream is a summer staple. But recently, I find myself drawn toward flavors more extraordinary than your basic vanilla or strawberry. Give me the figs. Give me ginger. Give me ricotta cheese. Something interesting and something to inspire my palette. Please.
But it’s not like you can walk into your typical local ice cream shop and find the amazing and unexpected flavors. And that makes me want to pull out the ice cream maker and make my cravings myself. Ice cream seems amazing right now! My sister is planning on moving in with her boyfriend at the end of August, and I can’t imagine a sweeter way to start their future together than with an ice cream maker!
