For Stacey of Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy Crafts, her passion and greatest strength collide at her sewing machine. The results are amazing hand-made outfits and perfect patterns for her three sons or herself. With European sensibilities gained from living all over the continent, Stacey is willing to try out a pattern, new colors, a different and very modern style on any project she tackles. The results and her site are fresh, clean, and oh so fun.

What Makes Your Blog Different?
Our family is currently stationed Stateside in the USA but usually my husband’s job as a diplomat takes us on grand adventures overseas. Our last three posts have been in Europe; taking us to Greece, Germany, and Denmark. The influences of living in other cultures and languages has a decided effect on my creative endeavors and provides a worldly window through the blogs photography.

Who is your Girl Crush?
Real women are amazing. I’m constantly blown away by the stories of real women, living and succeeding while overcoming hardships. I’d love to see more real women honored and praised for being amazing for their successes rather than their beauty.
What is Your Guilty Pleasure?

If You Could Invite Anyone (Alive or Dead) To Dinner, Who Would It Be?
Most people would say someone famous but honestly, I’d love to have dinner with all of the lovely people I’ve met so far in my life. We move so often and while Facebook and other social media gives us a window to their lives, I’d love to be able to have a sit down meal where I could get the chance to talk to them in depth about what has gone on in their lives.

What Do You Want The World To Know About You?
I’m not sure I have a profound answer for this one. I’m a real mom of three boys whose biggest struggle is finding the time for my creative side. I’ve been so wonderfully blessed in my life and try hard to be grateful for each and every experience whether it’s kissing scraped knees or explaining yet again why one of my children must wash their hands after using the bathroom.
In lieu of grand statements, here’s 10 things only my closest friends know about me. 1.I am NOT a morning person. I’d rather not be talked to for at least an hour after getting up. Now that I have three children, I need 2 cups of coffee to get my brain moving. 2. My mom cursed me with 4 snotty nosed boys when I was younger because I was such a mess-pot child. Since I swear I’m D-O-N-E, I feel like I won this one. Although those who know my MAN may argue otherwise. 3. I seriously love my husband. Like really, really. We’ve known each other for almost 20 years. We met the first week of our Freshman year in college. We’ve been married for 10 years.4. I’ve lived in 6 US states, 3 foreign countries, and have moved a total of 15 times. 5. I worked at Burger King during High School. Thus, I know all the kingly secrets. At 15, I was the most mature person working there. I do credit the experience with pushing me to go to college and make a decision about a future career. Thank you, fellow workers, for showing me what life could have been like. 6. I love a good, cheesy, Romantic Comedy. Sit me down in front of any film with Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts, Katherine Heigl, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, or Jennifer Aniston and I’m a happy lady. 7. Cheese is my favorite food. 8. I hate my feet and ever since I saw the Seinfeld episode about the girl with man-hands, I think everyone must think it’s about me.9. I think I’d make a good librarian and ever since becoming a stay-at-home mom, I think it would be heaven to have that must quiet time during my day. If it wasn’t so difficult to get a job, I’d make it my second career. 10. I hate talking on the phone. It is one of my greatest anxieties. I don’t like having to order food or call a company to cancel a service. I now have the excuse that my kids go crazy every time I pick one up, but really it’s been an ongoing issue.
Thanks for having me, Anna.
