Do you have kids? Do you read Dirt and Boogers. Because you should.
You know how there are people who talk about parenting like it’s beautiful? Like it’s the most beautiful thing and there are always smiles and kisses and timeout doesn’t exist. To those people, parenting is always Pinterest-perfect? Well, Dirt and Boogers is not that site. It’s honest about parenting. Amanda admits that she’s not perfect, that her kids aren’t perfect, that there’s some times yelling. *gasp* But Dirt and Boogers makes that honesty so beautiful because it means that all parents feel welcome and comfortable. It’s like being hugged after baring your soul. And all parents need a site like this.
So meet Amanda, the genius behind all the wonderful.

What Makes Your Blog Different?
My blog is honest, real, and personal while also helpful because I give parenting advice. It is a guilt free, non-judgmental place where parents can come to vent and get support, while working on building more peaceful homes with their children. Um…and it’s called Dirt and Boogers.

What Do You Want The World To Know About You?
I’m such a boring normal person. I spend most of my days playing with kids, cleaning the kitchen, and continuously checking my email and facebook.
I’ve always wanted to be original and unique though, but it never seems to work out. For example, a bought a Mini Cooper years ago, before they were cool. Then that damn movie the Italian Job came out and everyone went out and bought one.
I’ve decided that I’m neither and introvert or extrovert…I’m in the middle and ambivert. I feel like that makes me a bit original 🙂
