Be Positive Day 17 | Gratitude Adjustment

Please don’t get the wrong impression. I still have moments of frustration. I face challenges and yell more often than I want. My life isn’t perfect, no matter what I’ve written this month. I have anger that I don’t know what to do with and sometimes all these bad feelings get the better of me. While I’ve felt better inside these 30 Days than I’ve felt in a long time, I’m not living in some ethereal or perfect state where the sun always shines, as much as I wish it did.

I’m trying, though, trying to find the good despite my uglier moments, trying to appreciate all I have, trying to stay positive. Something that I’m learning from my 30 Day Life Pulp Challenge is that small changes make big differences. I’ve seen it. Small moments in appreciation alter my mood. And small moments remembering what I have to offer the world gives me confidence to work toward change. Small moments in silence re-energize myself and give me strength.

But despite all the positive changes I’ve made so far this month, I still feel like gratitude is missing in my day-to-day. I wrote about it here, so I’ve been watching myself and looking for thankfulness. So this week, I’m challenging myself to a Gratitude Adjustment.

Here’s how it will work. This week, I’ll photograph and write about those things and moments in my life that I am thankful for. All week, I’ll share these moments with you on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #GratitudeAdjustment. Then, on Saturday, I’ll share with you some of these moments and tell you all of what I learn. Would you like to join me? Feel free to Tweet using #GratitudeAdjustment or post your photos and moments on my Facebook page. And if you do, I just might share your moments on the Saturday blog too.

I’m excited, and I should start by saying I’m grateful for you for reading and sharing here with me.

Here’s my favorite Life Pulp Inspiration from today. It was posted by George P.
