The Days No. 1

When I’m not here, I’m thinking about my blog. And when I’m not writing, then I’m constantly working toward my 30 Days goals. I set a goal, and it seems under my skin, makes me tick, keeps me up at night. And while I wish I could blog about all of my adventures, tell you everything thing that I’m up to every second, I can’t. I just don’t have the time. So that’s why this month I’m tying something new. I’m recording The Days.

Do you follow me on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook? If so, then you might of seen some of my outdoor adventures so far this month. You might’ve seen the bubbles I was blowing or the puddles we were splashing in. Every day, I am sharing photos that I take on my phone of the moment, of what’s happening right then. I’m not stopping to filter or shine up the moment. I’m sharing the beauty of the second, so you can see exactly what is happening and exactly how I’m working toward my goal to Be Outside.

Come back on Sundays. I’ll compile The Days here for a recap. But to be in the moment with me, then be sure to check out In The Next 30 Days on all social media.

I’ve been more inside this week than I wanted to be. To say we’ve had a lot of rain is an understatement, and now I’m frantically searching for the sunshine. But the tropical storm wasn’t nearly as scary as it could’ve been, I find I look forward to my time outside the same way I look forward to a warm bath, a long conversation with an old friend, or a quiet cup of coffee in the morning.

The Days | Day 1 Spent day one of my Be Outside challenge at Sunrise Park. Swam. Dug. Played. Enjoyed. | Day 2 Day 2 means barefoot coffee in the backyard. | Day 3 The clouds are winning today. But I love hearing the thunder. | Day 4 Lots and lots of bubbles outside today! | Day 5 The world is puddle-wonderful today on day 5. | Day 6 Breakfast on the front porch before the rain. | Day 7 After the storm walk today on day 7. | Day 8 Beautiful morning light on day 8. This from my run through the cemetery.
