I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to go photograph the Folly Beach Fishing Pier. Fifteen minutes from home and so much to click away at. I spent two hours this morning both on and below the pier, and took what I think are some nice photos. The sky was amazingly dramatic, half puffy white clouds and half rain-threatening grayness. But the light was really nice.
Being stuck at home lately, all my pictures seem to be of the close-up variety. Having an entire beach and pier to photograph opened my horizons a bit, making me look for photographs with layers of subject matter instead of what’s obvious and close up (although I certainly took some of those as well).
