These are the dog days. We’re training (more on that on Monday, I promise) and playing, riding in the car and taking long naps. We are fitting into Molly’s routine and she’s fitting into ours, which is what owning a pet is all about. And I like our house with an extra set of four legs. I love the tail wagging and slobbery kisses that great me each time I come home or that heavy sigh as Molly falls asleep beside me. Life is better with a dog.
Here’s what our days have looked like. | Day 15 Molly’s rocking her #thundershirt this morning. We have roofers replacing some shingles, and the banging has her on edge. | Day 16 She won’t come in the bathroom. Never. She also won’t go outside in the rain. #notawaterdog | Day 17 Sometimes, she doesn’t even make it to her bed before nap time. | Day 18 It’s so hard to leave when she looks at me like that. | Day 19 Rawhide turkey, because why not? #nowiveseeneverything | Day 20 At a red light. This dog was made to ride in the car. | Day 21 Molly’s got a new toy. It’s bacon flavored. #everythingsbetterwithbacon
This week, my Wordless Love Letters post was syndicated on BonBon Break, which is beyond exciting for me! Thank you Val, and you should head over there to check it out ASAP. It’s a lesson that I need reminded of all the time.
