They’ve taken over. They’ve invaded my living room, my dreams, my kitchen, Julia’s school, our front yard, my daughter, and my time. I’ve done some letter writing and some letter sending, but mostly some letter composing in my brain and meaning to get it down on paper.
But I wanted you to know I haven’t forgotten, and I will get back to this month’s challenge soon.
How do you deal when the Christmas crazies attack? Really. I might need some help here.

I have no advice. The crazies are out in full force here, especially the ones with prefixes such as “ex-blah blah”. I say hide. Do your shopping online, and wait til the full moon subsides.
I think hiding is AMAZING advice. I wish it were possible. Even an evening in a bubble bath with a glass of wine is kind of out of the question. (Why is it that kids love to hang out with mom in the bathroom?)
Going to the mall is the worst. Everyone running around trying to find something so they don't end up the horse's ass. You can actually see it in their eyes. Thank God for online shopping so you don't have to deal with it as much.
You're right T. I avoid the mall all the time, not at Christmas. Internet shopping might be the only reason I still have my hair.
