Mandy Jean Chic is a lifestyle blog from New Mexico. My favorite posts are beauty related but I love posting DIY projects, home decor, fashion and anything I find chic at the moment. Also, my blog is filled with pictures of our 4×4 adventures and 2 bloodhounds. I am pretty sure my tombstone will read; Mandy Jean…. lover of makeup, big trucks and hound dogs.

I embrace everything with grace (or I try!). I really don’t like being negative and being a law enforcement wife sometimes you just need to step away from the negativity. My blog does that for me. Also, my posts can sometime be pretty random. I have a ton of interests and share them.

It is ok to be different, ambitious and a dreamer. I live my life how I want to. It isn’t perfect, but I love it.
On a humorous note, recently I had to get 3 stitches in my head because I slipped in the shower singing Bohemian Rhapsody. It was the good part too! I had to call my husband at work (he is very high ranking law enforcement and had to leave a meeting with county commissioners) to take me to the ER. Now when I see other officers, county officials and friends they always sing Bohemian Rhapsody.
Also, I love hockey. My favorite day of the year is October 1st. I also broke my toe last year because I kicked my coffee table when the Wings lost in the play offs. Yes, I am THAT girl.
