My dog, Harper Lee, is sick. Really sick. So I’ve been down in the dumps while I shoot down low for this week’s Focus 52 prompt: Get Down. Tonight, she’s recovering from having the fluid around her heart drained (I told you, really sick), and she’s lying on the floor next to me very, very still. She’s peacefully asleep, which is a beautiful thing. I’m thankful she can find rest even though I know her insides aren’t quite as calm.
In happier news, I’ve been belly-down to take other photographs so far this week. Here are Julia’s shoes and socks that she scoffed as she danced into the kitchen this afternoon.
And this is the red front door of St. John’s Lutheran Church that I took during my Gateway Walk on Tuesday. Love the checkerboard floor from this angle too.

awwww!!! I'm SO sorry for your poor Harper
That is a beautiful photo of him. Perfect perspective.
I hope he has some better days ahead.
Thanks for linking up this week xoxo
Thanks, Jan. We should have a couple of good months with Harper, so we're just enjoying the time we have. And probably expect more pics of my sweet pup.
