Last week on Edisto, I watched the sun rise. Twice. I’d forgotten the kind of promise a sunrise holds. It’s like the world is opening up this huge treasure chest of possibility for the very first time. And even though the sun comes up every morning, there it is, that moment when anything and everything isn’t just possible, it’s right there within easy reach. What exhilaration!
I feel the same way at the start of each 30 Days. I’ve been at this for some months now. I’ve cleaned and run, made dinner and taken photographs, done random kindness and eaten local. But the start of each month is just as beautiful as any sunrise because anything can happen, and quite often, it does. I love my 30 Day adventures and the opportunity I have to meet amazing people, learn more about myself, and explore the unexpected.
So what’s next? I have great ideas for new 30 Day challenges and things to do. But you all, my favorite readers, come visit and leave comments and look forward to the things I do. So I thought I’d put it to you.
What could I tackle that would make you smile, make you come back and read more, inspire you to make a difference in your own life or maybe tackle your own 30 Days? Voice your opinions right now. What’s on your mind?
And if I’m inspiring you in a sunrise kind of way, then start thinking forward to your own 30 Days. In July, you’ll have the chance to share your own challenges and inspirations on your blogs and sites. I’m so excited to share these experiences with you!

I love Edisto!!! My favorite place in the whole world. Love your photos, too!

I agree, Abbie. Edisto is one of the best spots on Earth. Thanks!
ways to beat the heat with toddlers? I'm looking for ideas, the beach is close to where we live, but not as close as it was in Charleston.
This is a good one, Virginia. There's got to be more than just the beach/pool. I mean, what do people do in the desert, right?
