This morning I went to take pictures the Mount Pleasant Pier under the Cooper River Bridge. I got a new tripod for my birthday and thought the great expanse of the bridge and river vistas was the perfect spot to break it in. I did get some good bridge shots, but I found myself fascinated with the knots on the ropes attached to fishing nets, emergency life rings, and bait cutting tables.
