Blogging Day 12 | A Redesign and a New Start

A redesign and a clean, fresh start. Come see the changes. | In The Next 30 Days

Do you see the changes here? I got up the nerve and pressed publish on a new template and a big part of a major site redesign. In The Next 30 Days is looking clean, fresh, and gorgeous, if I do say so myself.

I’ll write the full story of my redesign later this month, because I’m not quite finished, but I did want to show everything that’s been happening on my end. In the coming days, look for more changes. I’m still figuring the CSS code that will make that beautiful yellow header look perfect on your iPhone or other mobile device. And I need to figure out more of my branding so that my side bar buttons for my past challenges look cleaner and nice. Plus, I’m not wild about the orange square around the date. But those are cosmetics, and the structure is here.

It’s like my blog is twirling in a pretty, brand new dress. It’s a beautiful fresh start here, and I am finding a renewed excitement for the page, for my site, for my posts. I love that.

So, what do you think? First impressions? Gut reactions? I want to hear your thoughts on how things look and (more importantly) how things work? Please let me know if you run into a snag or hang up so I can fix it.

And in other happy news, I have winners for the Comforts of Home Giveaway! Thank you to everyone who entered, and congrats to our winners!
