Bloggers Day 15 | Cori George from Let’s Eat Grandpa

08/15/14

Cori George is creative, talented, so funny, and the brains and crafty behind Let's Eat Grandpa. She makes me want to learn to sew and live more simply. | In The Next 30 Days Full disclosure: I love Cori George from Let’s Eat Grandpa. I met her for the first time at BlogHer 14, and she’s every bit as awesome as she comes across in this feature. Just thought you needed to know the truth.

Let’s Eat Grandpa might be the best blog name you’ve ever heard. Cori George has an editor’s background, so the old grammar joke was the perfect name for her blog. And, as Cori says, “Punctuation saves lives.” The site is filled with (beautiful) crafts and sewing projects, DIY, home decor, travel, current events and social justice, and this amazing dog, Gunnar. But what makes Let’s Eat Grandpa so perfect is Cori’s perspective, which is conscious, charming, and funny.

Say hello to Cori!

What Makes Your Blog Different?

I like to make things that feel like they may be out of reach to the average woman. But then I break things down so simply that she can say to herself, “Hey! I can actually do this!” I love to inspire and motivate my readers to do more than they thought they were capable of.

What Do You Want The World To Know About You?

If I were to throw caution to the wind, I’d sell most of what I own and buy an RV and travel around Europe with my husband for a few years, visiting, well, everywhere! I could live in a tiny space, with few things, as long as I could see the world. Maybe someday!

Cori is really one of my new favorite people. Also, you know you have a Sour Patch Kids problem when your tongue is torn up from eating too many. I might know from personal experience.
