Don’t let the name fool you, Megan’s Mama Bub isn’t a typical mommy blog. Megan is exploring books, fashion, recipes, travel, kids, and more. It’s personal and universal at the same time. Plus, when I read Mama Bub, I can hear Megan talking. It’s like we’re sitting at Starbucks and she’s just telling me about what’s going on in her life in her own perfect voice. You have to love a writer whose personality shines so bright behind their words. You have to.
Say “Hello” to Megan from Mama Bub right here.
What Is Your Blog About?
I write a parenting and lifestyle blog that is about anything and everything that is going on in my life. I write about what I’m reading and what I’m wearing and funny things that my kids do to make me laugh, with a heavy dose of things I currently love.
What Makes Your Blog Different?
I have always made an effort to keep things real on my blog. My life isn’t perfect and my blog shouldn’t make it seem like it is. While I’m not airing my dirty laundry, I’m quick to point out when things went very wrong. Case in point: my son complained every minute of our hike through the Grand Tetons. Someone missed the memo about that being a bucket list moment.
Where Do You Blog?
In bed or parked at the kitchen counter.
How Do You Take Your Coffee or Tea?
I take my tea iced unsweetened, but my coffee needs to be sweet with a splash of almond milk.
The Most-Played Song in My iTunes is [FILL IN THE BLANK].
Lately it’s probably the Once soundtrack, unless my daughter is calling the shots and then it’s all Frozen, all the time.
I Couldn’t Live Without My [FILL IN THE BLANK].
iPhone. Sad, but true.
Where Is Your Dream Vacay?
This list is so long, but our NEXT vacation will hopefully be to Orlando. Sure, we want to take the kids to Disney World, but the husband and I really, really want to visit the Harry Pottery lands in Universal.
Who is your Girl Crush?
What is Your Guilty Pleasure?
Candy. We have a candy counter IN OUR HOUSE.
If You Could Invite Anyone (Alive or Dead) To Dinner, Who Would It Be?
What Is Your Favorite Part Of Your Body?
My hair. Does that count?
What Do You Want The World To Know About You?
I have a terrible time making decisions (as evidenced by the length of time I’ve spent thinking about this one question.) I’m pretty good at telling others what choices they should make, though.
